Eye of the Storm

  • Keyed greenscreen
  • Integrated background and foreground CG elements into the shot
  • Added lightning bolt, camera shake and other elements

Ghostly Reflection

  • Combined two plates together to add reflection of ghost in the window
  • Keyed greenscreen and added fog elements
  • Matched interactive lighting differences between the 
  • Retimed shot

Eldunari Background

  • Keyed greenscreen
  • Lit and rendered background
  • Tracked background to the plate

Eldunari Chamber

  • Modelled and textured staircase
  • Lit and rendered scene
  • Created mattes for chamber energy
  • Created Fume sims for energy wave, dust, and fireballs
  • Added camera shake
  • Comped shot

Warehouse Windmill Destruction

  • Created Fume simulations for flying car and exploding windmill
  • Created Rayfire simulation for the windmill being destroyed
  • Added various fire and explosion elements 

Quarry Destruction

  • Roto and keyed bluescreen
  • Removed some trees and built clean-plates for certain elements
  • Removed actor rigs
  • Modelled and/or textured much of the geometry in the scene
  • Tracked scene
  • Created Fume and Rayfire simulations for the Quarry destruction and destroyed boulder
  • Added lantern effect and camera shake

Facial Rust

  • Created mattes and layers used for rusting face effect
  • Tracked each patch of rust to Pete's face
  • Comped layers onto plate
  • Organized large sequence of shots with another artist to maintain consistency throughout

Badlands

  • Keyed greenscreen and removed tracking markers
  • Comped background element into the shot

Rig-Removal

  • Removed actor rigs from the floor of the truck

Rig-Removal and Sky Replacement

  • Removed actor rigs and crane
  • Replaced sky
